Introduction We are looking for project intern(s) to join our teams in the second half of 2026. You will be working closely with one of our teams (description of hiring teams below) with key responsibilities and opportunities including: Support evaluation of investment opportunities in companies through industry/company research and analysis Support scoping of value creation opportunities for portfolio companies such as: industry landscaping, peer benchmarking, strategy refocusing, JV/Partnership analysis Monitor market trends, performance of portfolio companies and supporting landscaping studies of companies in new sectors Prepare financial models and write investment memos Work closely with the team to support the preparation of presentations and analysis Requirements Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably having taken modules in finance, accounting, corporate finance, or economics, and with a passion in investing Previous internship experience in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, venture capital or M&A / corporate development is preferred High level of interpersonal and communication skills Strong financial literacy, analytical skill and spreadsheet modelling skills Able to work well with diverse teams and deal with multiple stakeholders Self-starter with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and to work independently Application Details Please state the following clearly in your resume/CV: Availability (Start Date - End Date) Team preference in order of ranking from most preferred to least preferred. Team Description Agri-Food The Agri-Food investment team invests in and works with innovative companies in the food and agriculture sectors that are unlocking their potential while making a difference in the world. Our sub-sectors of interest encompass the entire Agri-Food value chain, and include alternative protein, vertical farming, digital platforms, and biotechnology among others. With over $10 billion invested since inception, the team’s investment portfolio consists of many market-leading and innovative companies from around the world. The team invests across a wide spectrum of investment opportunities, including early stage, growth equity, and control / co-control investments. We are recognized as one of the leading investors and thought leaders globally in Agri-Food, having been selected as the "Agritech Investor of the Year (2022)" by Agri Investor. Blockchain The Blockchain team leads Temasek’s efforts in exploring opportunities in blockchain technology. The team is pioneering efforts to expand Temasek’s scope beyond traditional investing. Financial Services The Financial Services team invests globally in companies that benefit from long term secular themes such as the digitization of commerce and infrastructure. The team evaluates opportunities from early-stage disruptors to more mature cash generative companies listed in public markets, in core focus areas such as i) payments and commerce enablement, ii) capital market infrastructure, iii) financial software, iv) emerging market technology platforms and v) wealth. Healthcare and Life Sciences (SEA) The Healthcare & Life Sciences (HC&LS) SEA team focuses on investing in healthcare and life sciences companies across the Southeast Asian region. The team evaluates opportunities across the life cycle of companies, from growth to buyouts and publicly listed opportunities. The team is focused on the key areas of aged care, healthcare infrastructure, digital health, medtech, biopharma and pharma services. Innovation The Innovation team is responsible for identifying and investing in promising early stage and high growth companies globally across sectors. The team is focused on investing in disruptive technology companies at Series C and earlier. There is a global mandate with a core focus in North America, Europe, Israel and SEA. Portfolio companies include Zipline, Perfect Day, Solugen, Truelayer, Solid Energy and PortalOne, among others. Impact Investing Impact Investing team focuses on investing into innovative business solutions that tackle challenges for the underserved demographic across global emerging markets. Sectors of interest include financial services, healthcare, agriculture, education, and climate. Our strategy predominantly focuses on fund investments by supporting leading impact fund managers (both private equity and venture capital) while developing a portfolio of direct / co-investments to deepen the impact. Beyond investments, the team also has developed its proprietary Impact Management and Measurement framework and actively engages with the impact investing ecosystem to advance impact practice. The team is also actively involved in broader impact ecosystem building, collaborating with partners in Asia and beyond, incl. Centre for Impact Investing & Practices, GIIN, etc. Potential candidate should be passionate about making a difference, preferably with skillsets and demonstrated interests in emerging markets, finance / investing and impact methodologies/measurement. Investment Performance Management (IPM) IPM drive unified alignment across the organization to support Temasek’s strategic investment vision and enhance our overall investment performance. New Energy and Industrials (NEI) The NEI team invests globally in companies that benefit from the long-term secular themes of Energy Transition and Industry 4.0. Key sub-sectors of focus include i) batteries, ii) advanced fuels, iii) renewables, iv) hydrogen, v) building/industry decarbonization, and vi) robotics & intralogistics automation. The team invests across a diverse set of opportunities including growth equity/scale-up plays to more mature late-stage/ buyout situations in the private domain, to various opportunities in listed assets. Private Equity Fund Investments (PEFI) PEFI invests in many of the world’s premier Private Equity fund managers. With a portfolio that spans across the Americas, Europe and Asia, we generate many fund and direct co-investment opportunities in different industries globally. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience of both Private Equity fund and direct investments opportunities alongside our global investment team. POD-Artificial Intelligence (POD-AI) The POD-AI team adopts a tech-centric investment approach to AI and aims to identify and capture opportunities in AI for Temasek and its broader portfolio ecosystem. It invests across 1) early-stage, AI-native companies, 2) AI-specialist VC funds, and 3) venture building, where it has set up a number of ventures, including Minden.ai, Aicadium and Resaro AI. Potential candidate should ideally have an interest in the field of AI, preferably with a background in either finance/VC/investing or software engineering. Portfolio Development Group (PDG) The PDG team partners with select major portfolio companies to build/unlock and drive value creation for long-term sustainable returns. We work closely with the Boards and Management of the companies to plan and execute strategic initiatives which take into account changing market conditions, industry/sector trends and disruptors. We also build platforms to address disruptive trends and opportunities and transform existing businesses to better position companies for the future. Combining capabilities across M&A, strategy, transformation, operational and industry experience, we aim to build a collaborative partnership with our companies, going beyond investing to building for resilient growth. Examples include Sembcorp demerger, merger of Sembcorp Marine and Keppel O&M, CapitaLand restructuring, Olam restructuring, SATS acquisition of WFS etc. Real Estate The real estate team invests in equity and credit opportunities across US, Europe, and Asia. The successful candidate will gain broad exposure from investing and managing a large and diversified portfolio, including public and private investments at both asset-level and company-level. South East Asia (SEA) The SEA teamis a market-focused, sector-agnostic team based in Singapore, investing across Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines and other Southeast Asia countries. The team evaluates a wide array of opportunities across private, public markets and VC/PE funds.
