Responsibilities

  • Geotechnical design, analysis and assessment for ground improvement works, foundation, excavation, slope, instrumentation and site investigation. 
  • Airfield pavement designs and well verse with ICAO as well as FAA requirements.
  • Plan, design, supervise and coordinate for geotechnical/ civil engineering, infrastructural design, airfield pavement and site works.
  • Ensure all engineering works comply with all relevant statutory standards, regulations and Codes of Practice.
  • Liaise with project Stakeholders, Clients, other Consultants, Contractors, relevant Authorities. 
  • Asist Team Leader in maintaining high quality standards of design, supervision and guiding junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Master in Geotechnical Engineering with minor in pavement or its equivalent recognized by PEB.
  • At least 5 years design working experience in geotechnical and pavement engineering projects.
  • Familiar with geotechnical design in Eurocodes.
  • Well versed in geotechnical design software, e.g. Plaxis 2D, Plaxis 3D, GeoStudio, TEDDS.
  • Well versed in airfield pavement design software.
  • Familiar with Authorities submission requirements and project management for civil/ infrastructure engineering projects.
  • Familiar with ground improvement works, pavement, civil and structural designs will be in advantage.
