Position Purpose

Business Development Operations Support

  • Support the Business Development Director in managing daily Business Development activities, including coordination with internal teams and follow-up with clients and partners.

  • Track and manage active accounts and prospects, ensuring timely actions, clear ownership, and proper documentation of engagements.

  • Maintain an overview of ongoing Business Development activities across regions, supporting prioritisation and workload coordination.

  • Assist in resolving day-to-day operational issues related to client engagement, internal coordination, and Business Development workflows.

  • Support onboarding of new Business Development team members by ensuring they are familiar with internal processes, reporting expectations, and ways of working.

Client, Account & CRM Management

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, including client details, account ownership, engagement history, and opportunity status.

  • Support the Business Development Director in managing key client accounts through meeting coordination, follow-ups, and preparation of briefing materials.

  • Ensure consistency and discipline in how client and opportunity information is recorded and updated across teams and regions.

  • Conduct regular reviews of CRM data to ensure completeness, accuracy, and alignment with ongoing Business Development activities.

  • Prepare summaries and updates on client accounts and pipelines to support management discussions and decision-making.

Coordination & Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across Architecture & Design, Master planning, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and regional teams to support Business Development activities.

  • Assist with coordination related to Business Development budgeting, tracking of commitments, and alignment with internal approval processes.

  • Support cross-regional initiatives and internal coordination efforts led by the Business Development Director.

  • Undertake ad hoc assignments to support Business Development priorities as market conditions and organisational needs evolve.

Pre-requisites and Preferred Qualifications

Education & Professional Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

  • At least 4 years of experience in Business Development support, sales operations, account management, or a related role, preferably within architecture, engineering, consulting, real estate, or professional services.

  • Experience working in a multi-stakeholder, cross-regional environment is strongly preferred.

  • Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a more senior role. 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, accounts, and priorities concurrently.

  • Experience managing client information, account records, and Business Development tracking in a structured and disciplined manner.

  • Good understanding of Business Development processes, client relationship management, and pipeline tracking.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills, with confidence collaborating with senior internal stakeholders and external clients.

  • High attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate records, follow-ups, and documentation.

  • Ability to operate effectively across time zones and work with regional teams.

  • Proactive, reliable, and able to anticipate support needs of the Business Development Director.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
