Full Description
Job Description: Monitor and control all jobs to achieve the contractual Key-Performance Indicators (KPI), mainly (1) Equipment availability, (2) Preventive and Corrective Turn-Around Time (TAT), (3) Breakdown Response time and (4) Submission of Scope of Work (SOW). Safe custody, control and maintain of all equipment and special tools used by workshop. Provide first response to the customer’s management on technical investigations and incidents Ensure adequate manpower to perform the work. Co-ordinate and control of works which are performed by more than one workshop. Carry out technical studies on modification, improvement, and/or replacement of system/components to the vehicle/equipment. Ensure good housekeeping to provide safe and healthy working environment for the staff. Feedback relevant information gathered from meeting, seminars or forums to the staff and keeping the Project Managers informed on the development/situation in the workshop. Identify and record any product/service problem and initiate action to prevent recurrent. Verify the effective implementation of preventive and corrective actions on the non-conformity. Ensure all works are carried out in a safe manner conforming to Department/project safety plan. Take immediate measures to rectify all observed or reported hazards in the workplace. Report all near-misses, incidents and accidents to Ops Managers immediately. Act as a Site Incident Controller in a case of emergency Job Requirements Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent. At least 3 years of work experience as an Engineer in an automotive or other relevant maintenance related industry. Strong project & people management skills. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Able to work independently within tight schedules. Self-driven and excellent team player. Minimum Class 3 Driving (manual transmission) license, Class 4 or 5 driving license is preferred. Able to work in weekends and Public Holidays.
