Network Operations Engineer

Job Responsibilities: Be part of the client’s core network infrastructure support team providing oversight on deployment work and operations support. Collaborate with end user and vendor’s delivery team to ensure deployment meets requirements in a timely manner. Collaborate with end user and vendor’s O&S team to ensure timely fault analysis, problem resolution, patch updates, etc. with adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Maintain and update documentation and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across operations as well as completeness and adherence to the required security policies, standard and guidelines. Job Requirements: At least 2 years of working experience in the Information Technology industry in the areas of core network solution design, implementation & support Working knowledge of DNS, DHCP, NTP configuration, TCP/IP networking with ability to diagnose and resolve network access problem by performing network troubleshooting. Have experience in network project management including planning, defining business requirements, liaising with the stakeholders and managing implementation, acceptance testing and handover. Have experience in managing vendor to carry out upgrades, problem analysis and resolving issues. Valid CCNP certification or equivalent. Prior working experience in defence organisations or government ministries requiring security clearance will have an advantage. Good written and verbal communication skills.
