RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This position is for Office of Campus Infrastructure and Services (OCIS).
  • Assist Conference Team Lead to:
    • Optimize the usage of facilities to reach the sales target for the conference team.
    • Solicit new potential accounts and ability to convert sales leads to revenue.
    • Maintain and secure good accounts or long-term usage of facilities.
    • Render prompt and professional support to all external event organizers and ensure smooth running of events.
    • Coordinate logistic arrangements with internal departments and external clients.
    • Be responsible for preparing billing, check on outstanding payment and minimize overdue payment/bad debts.
  • Assist the Carpark Team Lead to:
    • Maintain and update the database on a need basis.
    • Attend to motorists' enquiries/ complaints for both staff and students (emails, walk-ins or over the phone).
    • Attend to complimentary car park coupon collection, edits to car details of users, and other general administrative duties.
    • Implement plans for operational excellence, department goals and operations standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Diploma in Business or related course.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in dealing with corporate clients in events or conference sales.
  • Possesses strong multi-tasking skills, able to work independently. Candidates with prior experience in event management would have an advantage.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Resourceful and able to work under pressure.
  • Team player, meticulous and customer service oriented with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
