RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Office of Admissions and Financial Assistance.
- Design and produce graphic and social media materials to raise awareness of financial assistance schemes and application processes.
- Co-support the Manager in implementing the HOMES process for means-testing and eligibility verification.
- Manage the end-to-end FA application process — from application submission, evaluation, and award recommendation to disbursement.
- Collaborate with FA Managers and Verifiers to ensure applicants’ eligibility submissions and reviews are completed within five weeks of application.
- Assist in reviewing applications for bursaries and study awards, providing appropriate award recommendations.
- Guide students in completing their applications and resolving issues related to eligibility assessment.
- Respond to enquiries received via the Centre’s mailbox in a timely and professional manner.
- Support full-time staff in coordinating award activities and student-related financial aid events.
- Follow up on consents for foreigners’ scholarship applications.
- Assist with other Centre operations and administrative duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A Diploma or Degree with at least one year of relevant administrative experience, preferably within the education sector.
- Demonstrated experience in the implementation of operational or process improvement initiatives will be an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe Acrobat, and Canva.
- Experience managing social media platforms and creating content for digital channels is preferred.
- Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Confident in delivering presentations and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
- Adaptable and resourceful in managing dynamic situations.
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Meticulous, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
