Senior Capacity Manager, Satellite

Be a Part of Something BIG Make an impact by Responsible for spectrum management and frequency coordination of existing and new Singtel’s satellite orbital slot in accordance with the ITU Radio Regulations. Evaluate & propose solution for technical operational parameters in frequency coordination meetings with affected administrations in accordance with ITU RR. To drive Singtel’s interest on space-related agenda in local study group, regional and World Radiocommunication Conference. Responsible for capacity sourcing, planning, optimization, testing and coordination between customers and satellite operators. To manage frequency assignment on owned or leased satellite’s capacity. To monitor monthly traffic expense and generate utilization reports for Singtel and 3rd party’s space capacity. Perform assessment of satellite footprint performance and satellite capacity procurement from 3rd party satellite operators. Provide recommendation of satellite capacity for pre-sales solution submission. Provide recommendations and follow-up actions with vendor. Skills for success An Engineering degree in communications or equivalent. Experience in project management, satellite operation and ITU frequency coordination. Experience in IMDA frequency regulatory and satellite technology. Certified Project Management Professional preferred. Have self-initiative to perform assigned tasks. Possess excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and able to work independently and as part of a team. Willing to travel overseas.
