That idea quickly turned into action, and the first prototype was built over a weekend with the other co-founders. Today, ShopBack serves over 50 million users across 13 markets, partners with 20,000+ merchants, and powers over half a million transactions daily. Your Adventure Ahead:
Own and drive the full Enterprise sales cycle, from identifying and engaging senior decision-makers to negotiating and closing high-value, long-term partnershipsAcquire, grow, and retain strategic Enterprise merchant partners, consistently delivering quarter-on-quarter revenue growth and sustainable value creationLead structured business reviews with Enterprise merchants, providing data-driven insights, performance analysis, and clear growth recommendationsAct as a trusted advisor to merchant partners by developing a deep understanding of their commercial objectives, operational needs, and success metricsPartner closely with product and integration teams to prioritise merchant requirements, address feature gaps, and deliver scalable solutions that meet enterprise expectationsCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing, and internal stakeholders to design and execute growth initiatives that accelerate merchant performance and drive ShopBack’s strategic goals
Essentials to Succeed:
Minimum 7 years of Business Development / Account management experience in the tech/payments spacePassionate about working on a wide portfolio of Enterprise accounts Strong negotiator and proven sales track record, with ability to navigate complex sales cycles with large enterprise clients; A problem-solver who’s not discouraged by failure or mistakesStrong interpersonal and communication skills Good analytical skillsA self-starter and motivated individual with can’t-is-not-an-option attitude; Ability to multitask under pressure while maintaining high level of accuracy of the workSelf-motivated and driven to help build a successful business in a startup environmentDemonstrated use of Generative AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Cursor) to develop new or improve workflows, enhance productivity, and drive efficiency at scale.
