[What the role is]
Enterprise Singapore's (EnterpriseSG) Corporate Communications Division plays a crucial role in shaping the perception of the organisation as the lead agency that grows globally competitive Singapore enterprises, develops Singapore as a leading global trading hub, and builds trust in Singapore products and services through quality and standards.As part of the Corporate Communications Division, the Strategic Communications and Media team works with divisions across the organisation to develop and amplify key messages via published content in media outlets. Our end objective is to position EnterpriseSG as a thought leader in our fields of expertise and reinforce that we are a partner for Singapore enterprises seeking to build new capabilities, sharpen their competitive edge, and expand overseas.
[What you will be working on]
As a Stategic Communications and Media officer,
- You will develop and execute communications plans for specific markets, industries, and programmes.
- You are required to plan and actively engage our target audience on multiple media channels (both local and international) through efforts such as story pitching, media releases, media cultivation, and more.
- The role will also include speechwriting, content development, and coordination for key events.
- You will be expected to internalise and present key messages and initiatives in a clear, convincing and timely manner as well as cultivate key stakeholders as advocates who can reinforce or amplify our narrative via media channels.
- You will also work with the larger Corporate Communications Division on milestone events, synergizing efforts to achieve greater publicity. This is especially important given the expansive scope of EnterpriseSG's work.
- The role may also include crisis communications.
- As the media landscape is constantly evolving, this role requires lateral thinking and a keen grasp of global/local trends and issues, in order to align EnterpriseSG's communications strategy with these changes.
[What we are looking for]
- You should have at least 5 years of relevant experience in Corporate Communications or Public Relations.
- You should be experienced in corporate messaging, developing communication plans, and possess a creative mind for story angles as well as excellent writing and media pitching skills.
- You will also need to be results-oriented, self-motivated, resourceful, as well as be a team player.
- Ability to speak and write in Mandarin or Malay is an advantage.
