Who we are

Open Government Products (OGP) is a team of engineers, designers, and product managers who build technology for the public good. We proactively identify areas where technology can help, test our prototypes with actual users, and bring our best ones to launch. This includes everything from building better citizen-facing applications, to automating the internal operations of public agencies. We use and release open-source software, keep a flat hierarchy, and bypass bureaucracy to deliver outcomes. Our end-goal is to make Singapore a model for how governments can use technology to improve the public good.

What You Will Do:

As Senior / Lead Product Manager of ActiveSG, you will manage the ActiveSG digital platform. ActiveSG lets citizens book sports facilities, register for fitness programmes, and stay active as part of a national movement toward healthier living.

You will:

• Own the vision and roadmap. Work with SportSG to shape how technology can make sports and active lifestyles more accessible for everyone.

• Turn ideas into impact. Spot opportunities to improve the user experience, simplify operations, and strengthen how citizens connect with public facilities and programmes.

• Build alignment. Bring together policy, operations, and engineering teams so that user needs, policy goals, and technical realities work in sync.

• Lead through collaboration. Partner with designers, engineers, and data specialists to deliver thoughtful, well-crafted products that Singaporeans use every day.

We need someone who can:

• Make ActiveSG better for users. Simplify how people book facilities, join programmes, and stay active.

• Work with SportSG to deliver shared outcomes. Align on vision, roadmap, and metrics while balancing policy goals, operations, and working styles.

• Build bridges across agencies. Connect product, policy, and operations teams so they move in the same direction.

• Navigate complexity and get things done. Build trust, form alliances, and explore creative ways to navigate government systems without losing momentum.

• Be hands-on with product, design, and engineering. Collaborate closely with the team to turn ideas into real, reliable products that serve millions of Singaporeans.

Products we have built include:

• Vaccine.gov.sg - First built for Covid vaccination booking, this portal has now expanded to provide fuss-free booking for a host of vaccine options at nearby clinics, aiming to protect members of public from preventable diseases.

• Data.gov.sg - A repository of open data from the Singapore government, including visualisations and real-time APIs. Our goal is to help individuals and businesses make better decisions by providing high-quality data for free.

• Parking.sg - A mobile app alternative to parking coupons. It lets users pay, extend, and get refunds for parking sessions on their phones.

• FormSG - A form builder enabling any public officer to launch a secure form in minutes. Our goal is to replace paper forms in public services.

• Isomer - A website builder enabling government agencies to launch and manage user-friendly, fast and secure websites.

• RedeemSG - Most well known for supporting CDC voucher campaigns, RedeemSG helps the public agencies to distribute user-friendly digital vouchers for varying purposes.
