We are seeking a Research Assistant to support the research for the project titled: Non-intrusive Plug-and-Play Adaptive HVAC Control for FCU HVAC Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Laison for development of a thermal and occupancy sensor.
Deployment of servers and assistance in network setup in a testbed building.
Data collection from BMS and thermal and occupancy sensors, and machine learning based analysis.
Daily system maintenance for the servers and onboard software modules.
To assist project PI to coach research students
Job Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in relevant fields with past experience in embedded system, wireless network and software development.
Knowledge in machine learning based data analytics related to building HVAC systems is a plus.
Proficiency in English - essential for data analysis and communication with stakeholders
