The Senior Director, Human Resources will lead and manage the Global HR Business Partner (HRBP) team, serving as a strategic advisor to senior business leaders across multiple international markets. This role is responsible for aligning global people strategy with business objectives, driving organizational effectiveness, and ensuring consistent yet locally relevant HR practices and compliance governance across the United States, APAC and EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Global HR Leadership & Strategy 
  • Lead, develop, and scale a high-impact global HRBP team supporting leaders across multiple regions. 
  • Partner with executive and senior leaders to translate business strategy into effective people and organizational strategies. 
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on workforce planning, organizational design, talent strategy, and change management. 
  • Business Partnership 
  • Provide strategic HR guidance to business leaders globally.  
  • Anticipate and address complex people-related challenges in diverse cultural, regulatory, and business environments. 
  • Drive consistent application of global HR frameworks while ensuring regional relevance and compliance. 
  • Talent & Organization Effectiveness 
  • Oversee talent management initiatives including leadership development, succession planning, performance management, and employee engagement. 
  • Support large-scale organizational change initiatives such as restructures, M&A integration, and business transformation. 
  • Use data and insights to influence decision-making and measure HR impact. 
  • Employee Relations & Risk Management
  • Ensure effective handling of employee relations matters at a senior level, in partnership with legal and regional HR teams. 
  • Maintain strong governance, compliance, and risk management across all geographies. 
  • Provide guidance on complex employment laws and practices in partnership with local experts. 
  • Team Development & Collaboration 
  • Build a strong, inclusive HRBP leadership bench through coaching, mentoring, and development. 
  • Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance within the HR function. 
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree or equivalent experience.  
  • 12+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant time in senior HR leadership roles. 
  • Proven experience leading global HRBP teams across multiple regions, including the US, India, Singapore, Japan, Malta, Hong Kong, Lithuania, Australia, Netherlands and the UK. 
  • Strong knowledge of international employment laws, labour practices, and cultural dynamics. 
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels in a fast-paced, global organization. 
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills. 
  • Preferred Experience & Attributes :
  • Experience supporting fintech, technology, multinational, or matrixed organizations. 
  • Track record of leading through change, transformation, and growth. 
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage HR metrics and insights. 
  • High degree of cultural intelligence, adaptability, and global mindset.
