The NETS Group is a leading payments services group, enabling digital payments for merchants, consumers and banks across the entire payments value chain. The Group operates Singapore’s national debit scheme enabling customers of DBS Bank/POSB, HSBC, Maybank, OCBC Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and UOB to make payments using their ATM cards or mobile devices at more than 130,000 acceptance points in the country as well as online payments. Position Summary The position of Associate – Business Planning and Special Projects focuses on these primary products under the Team: • NETS App • NETS FlashPay & NETS Motoring Cards • NETS Prepaid Card • NETS vCashCard He/she will report to the VP Consumer Business on the day-to-day product development of these products. The incumbent will also be exposed to NETS product development methodology and is expected to follow the processes/methodology to ensure that products are developed/managed with compliance and excellence in mind. The incumbent will also play a key role in supporting strategic planning and execution within the division. This role involves analyzing business performance, preparing reports and forecasts, and assisting in the development of business plans. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights, identify opportunities for improvement, and ensure alignment with organizational goals. Additionally, the role will contribute ideas that drive growth, efficiency, and innovation within the Consumer Business segment. Key Responsibilities 1. Product Development & Enhancement a. Develop and manage business requirements with cross functional teams. b. Engage internal and external stakeholders to evaluate the feasibility on new features/changes requests. c. Designing of App flow based on business objectives and scope. d. Conduct user acceptance test to ensure the product is developed or enhanced according to requirements. e. Monitor financial performance of the responsible product. f. Assess market trends to ensure product validity. g. Manage incidents/escalations from contact centre. h. Product data/analytics management reporting. i. Provide support to sales and servicing team on product related materials and queries. j. Conduct training to internal stakeholders such as Contact Centre, Operations and Sales/Servicing teams for new product launches or enhancements. k. Manage the necessary documentation to support service operations. l. Maintain Product Management Policy and Product Risk Management. m. Conduct Live Verification during product/enhancement launch to ensure the successful deployment and product function to requirements. n. Supports the development of the responsible product's strategic roadmap with key market research. 2. Stored Value Product Campaigns: a. Ideate and support the execution of related campaigns. 3. Other Administrative Duties: a. Updating of policies and procedures b. Perform regression testing for various systems, and work with User Acceptance Testing team where necessary. c. Facilitate the submission of reports and documents to Public Transport Council and other governmental authorities. d. Development of test plan, test cases and perform live verification of services. e. Development of service management documentation for product development. 4. Manage any vendors/suppliers. 5. Business Analyst a. Support the development and execution of annual and long-term business plans for the Consumer Business segment. b. Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to track business performance against targets. c. Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis to support decision-making. d. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. e. Prepare presentations and dashboards for management reviews and stakeholder updates. f. Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives. g. Participate in special projects, including market research, feasibility studies, and strategic initiatives. h. Ensure timely and accurate documentation of business planning activities and project deliverables. Requirements • We are looking for fresh graduates OR graduates with 1 to 2 years working experiences. • Has demonstrated keen interest in the payment business and landscape (competitive offerings and industry trends). • Strong presentation and engagement skills with ability to develop and cultivate relationships with a variety of business stakeholders. • Excellent communication and articulation skills. • Strong conceptual, critical thinking and analytical skills - demonstrating outside-the-box problem solving skills. • Highly skilled in using - MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel). • Should have good project management/coordination skills.
