We are looking for a Business Development Manager that understands the channel needs, consumers/customers insights and developing programs and activities tailored to capitalize on the opportunities in the channel for long-term sustainable and profitable growth. A day in the life of... Develop Channel Insights that determines the strategy and tactics to compete in the channel including setting the OPL and Commercial Planning An entrepreneurial approach to ensure the development of the Channel to achieve their sales and profits targets as given by management. Full P&L responsibilities. Develop plans to increase/improve distribution. Assist in the development of new products and products rationalization to cater the need of the channel. To account, monitor, control and ensure cost effective promotional activities with the PFME/TTS funds allocated. Trade Asset Control Communicate with the Sales and Distribution team to achieve desired merchandising and execution of plans in outlet ie respective channel. To ensure compliance/ provide support to all quality related activities identified in the NQMS Process Descriptions and Support Process Descriptions To ensure complaince /provide support to all OHS related activities identified in OHSAS manual Clause 4.4.1 What Will Make You Successful... Channel Insights, Financial statements understanding, Merchandising Guidelines, Channel distribution objectives People management Skills Product Knowledge 3-5 years relevant FMCG sales experience or experience working in hospitality sector
