RESPONSIBILITIES
- Underwrite complex and large-scale construction, erection and engineering-related insurance risks to meet top and bottom-line targets. Negotiate participation, pricing and terms with brokers and clients.
- Develop and execute the underwriting strategy for the Engineering portfolio, aligning with our top and bottom-line growth ambitions.
- Serve as the technical expert for engineering underwriting, providing guidance on complex cases and emerging risks. Drive best practices, technical training, and knowledge sharing across Business Units.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with and collaborate with international and local brokers, clients, industry partners and other relevant internal stakeholders to develop bespoke insurance solutions for high value, complex projects.
- Monitor and manage the engineering portfolio performance and profitability, monitoring market trends and activities to maintain competitive edge.
- Contribute to product development and innovation to meet evolving market needs.
- Support strategic initiatives to grow market share in large and complex engineering segments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional qualifications (e.g., ACII or equivalent) are an advantage.
