Job Responsibilities
Kitchen Asset Life Cycle Management
Maintain accurate inventory records of kitchen equipment across multiple locations.
Develop and implement systems for tracking lifecycle costs, reliability, procurement, and disposal.
Conduct periodic performance reviews and recommend replacements or upgrades with budget estimates.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with culinary, stewarding, and operations teams to align asset strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with equipment suppliers and service providers.
Facilitate regular meetings with all stakeholders to review inventory status, project progress, and improvement opportunities.
Engage chefs and stewarding staff in the decision-making process to tailor equipment solutions and drive standardization and optimization that meet operational needs.
Project Management
Plan and execute annual kitchen equipment replacement and upgrade projects.
Manage vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery within budget.
Oversee testing, commissioning, inspections, and defect management.
Track project milestones and deliverables, provide period updates to stakeholders
Ensure proper documentation, training for end-users, and handover of project deliverables
Manage project change requests.
Equipment Standardization and Optimization
Develop and implement standardization programs to improve reliability, maintainability, and efficiency.
Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or new technologies for continuous improvement.
Other Responsibilities and Assignments
Lead or support additional facility projects as assigned, including non-kitchen related upgrades and renovations.
Provide operational support to various departments, assisting with troubleshooting, issue resolution, and process improvements.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address urgent operational needs and ensure minimal disruption to business activities.
Undertake ad-hoc assignments and special initiatives as directed by management to support organizational goals.
Job Requirements
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical), Facilities Management, Project Management, or related fields.
Preferred: HACCP certification; Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or equivalent credentials.
Experience
Proven experience in project management, vendor negotiations, and compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards.
Minimum 5 years in facilities management, with at least 2 years focused on kitchen or F&B asset management in an Integrated Resort
Familiarity with Maximo WO systems.
Other Prerequisites
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Knowledge of financial systems and asset management software
Project Management: Ability to manage complex projects from planning to execution
Operations & Maintenance: Strong understanding of commercial kitchen systems
Compliance & Risk Management: Knowledge of HACCP, NEA guidelines, and workplace safety
Financial Acumen: Budgeting and cost control expertise.
Leadership & Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure
Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends or extended hours when required
