The experienced Project Manager will drive the implementation of a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, to transform the financial operations as well as ensuring the seamless integration of various systems.  This role blends core financial operations responsibilities with a strong commercial finance expertise, enabling process-driven decisions that enhance financial operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, project management, and ERP systems, with a proven track record of successful implementations, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Execution: Lead the full lifecycle of the ERP implementation project—from planning and requirements gathering to deployment and post-implementation support.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Finance, IT, Procurement, Operations, Sales and Vendor Management, and external vendors to ensure alignment of business needs and technical solutions.
  • Process Mapping & Optimization: Analyse and understand existing financial processes, work with regional Core implementation team and external vendors to leverage ERP capabilities for efficiency and control.
  • System Configuration & Testing: Oversee system setup, data migration, UAT (User Acceptance Testing), and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Change Management & Training: Develop and execute training plans for finance users, and support change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption.
  • Risk & Compliance Oversight: Ensure the ERP system meets internal control requirements and complies with relevant financial and taxation regulations and standards. 
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project milestones & risks.
  • Any other duties as assigned 

Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
  • Professional qualification (CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA) strongly preferred.
  • 6–10 years of Finance experience with at least 3+ years’ experience in finance and project management, with at least 2 ERP implementations.
  • Experience with data migration, system integration, and post-go-live support 
  • Background in distribution, tech, services industries is advantageous.


Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of financial processes including GL, AP, AR and Fixed Assets
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to engage non-finance stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel, with experience in BI/analytics 
  • Familiarity with SAP system, OneStream, Qlik Sense, Hyeprion, Essbase, Smart View
