About the Job: 

Independent Reserve Singapore is seeking a seasoned Derivatives Sales Manager to join our team. This pivotal role, based in our Singapore office, is ideal for an experienced sales leader with a strong track record in institutional derivatives, structured products, or trading solutions. A deep understanding of financial markets, combined with an interest in cryptocurrency and digital assets, is highly valued. In this role, you will drive client engagement, expand our institutional client base, and lead strategic sales initiatives. 

Your responsibilities will include: 
  • Grow our derivatives business and drive sales to institutional, corporate, and high-net-worth clients 
  • Design and execute targeted sales strategies to drive market penetration and revenue growth in derivatives trading 
  • Lead and own the full sales cycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and onboarding, followed by ongoing account management to maximize client satisfaction 
  • Understand client needs and collaborate cross functionally to deliver client-centric solutions tailored for the market 
  • Acquire new clients, develop a strategic sales growth plan and develop new business opportunities 
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and capture our competitive positioning, product roadmap, and regional strategy 

Experience and Skills we are looking for: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Business, or a related field 
  • 5+ years of experience in institutional sales within derivatives, experience in cryptocurrencies a bonus 
  • Deep knowledge of derivatives markets, product structures, and risk management principles 
  • A strong and established client network within institutional investors, family offices etc. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to understand and address client-specific needs 
  • Confident communicator who can explain complex ideas clearly and build trust quickly 
  • Good negotiator and presenter
