About Us:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the setup, configuration, and optimization of the commodity trading and electronic booking platform for the Singapore subsidiary.

  • Execute daily trading and market-making for commodity derivatives, managing risk and P&L.

  • Cover a broad mandate: Ferrous & Bulk Commodities, Energy (Oil & Gas), Base Metals, and Agricultural Products (Ags), across both onshore (e.g., China) and offshore markets.

  • Own daily P&L calculation, reporting, and reconciliation with Market Risk and Product Control teams.

  • Ensure accurate trade booking and lead daily reconciliation processes with Operations.

  • Prepare and deliver routine business performance reports to Business Management.

  • Work strategically with the Sales team to grow the client franchise, providing expert market insight and structured solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Financial Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of direct commodity derivatives trading experience.

  • Deep understanding of global commodity markets, with a strong network of industry contacts.

  • Essential: Full professional proficiency in both Mandarin and English.

  • Self-motivated with a strong teamwork ethos and a proven ability to thrive in a high-pressure trading environment.
