We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an AI Governance and Data Lead. In this role you will: Cascade, communicate and embed data strategy, data governance practices, control design and monitoring requirements working with designated team representatives. Represent at governance and oversight forums including Data Quality Working Group and Country Data Executive Council and data risk at Risk Management forum Work with designated team representatives to implement and execute locally owned data controls with applicable business process owners; track and monitor effectiveness Communicate and consult on oversight and monitoring methodology for End User Computings used; regularly follow-up with Data Representatives for any metrics. Have oversight for Data quality/ incidents/ monetization, working with respective team representatives who have execution responsibility, ensuring appropriate capture investigation and resolution of data quality issues Coordinate and/or provide responses to regulatory Request for Informations (RFIs) and audit requests Manage and coordinate engagement and participation in data roadmap initiatives To be successful you will need: University degree in technical discipline e.g. Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information System, Engineering or other compensating post graduate experience Strong banking experience preferably in one or more of the following areas ; data management, risk and controls, 1st / 2nd line governance and oversight; Technology project management Proven ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with senior stakeholders and business sponsors. Effective verbal and written communication, experience in managing broad stakeholders and cross-functional project / teams, and strong influential & presentation skills Experience in agile working & project delivery, comfortable with working in fast-changing and complex environment Self-motivated professional able to work independently, willing to challenge stakeholders to address risks and execute in timely and effectively manner.
