We are seeking someone that wants to make a direct impact on the company’s financial performance. If you are experienced with engine maintenance and know how to guide a team to optimize costs at the fleet and component level, we have the ideal role for you.

While working in the MRO shop environment, you will seek out and drive cost savings during shop visits leveraging your technical expertise and relationships with inspectors, engineers, and line technicians. You will collect data and examples related to trends of hardware condition and work with your network to improve work scopes, extend inspection limits, develop repairs, and optimize decisions that will result in improvements to profitability for our maintenance contracts.

You will also work closely with customer managers and operations cost managers to optimize the fleet lifecycle cost for their customer’s fleets, investigate and report on hardware cost trends, review cost estimates, and influence engine costs during shop visit. You will also work in collaboration with technical and commercial specialists to define and refine work scopes that improve Time on Wing (TOW) and optimize repair costs.

  • As you identify trends that may require a project, you will support a hand-off to the project manager with all relevant data, photos, etc. to build the business case. You will document your recommendations and share as needed. This role is vital to provide early insights on emerging issues and monitoring effectiveness of Gross Margin Expansion (GME) initiatives.

  • Knowledge sharing and providing training where there are learning opportunities to improve product knowledge or support other teams or business areas. You will also advise stakeholders in key business decisions.
