Team and Position Summary
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and self-motivated Point-of-Sale (POS) Terminal Tester to join the company Technology team. The primary responsibilities of this role include planning and executing terminal testing and providing support as part of solution delivery. Success in this position requires a strong technical understanding of payment flows, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and escalate impediments or risks to ensure projects and deliveries remain on track. The ideal candidate will have a solid background and experience in payment terminal testing.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute pre-defined test cases based on user requirements and technical specifications to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Identify software issues when results deviate from expected outcomes, document the steps taken, and report issues/bugs to the QA Lead or Developer.
- Document and capture test artifacts and results for reporting and review purposes.
- Proactively collaborate and take the lead in identifying and escalating impediments or risks that require senior leadership attention to keep projects on track.
- Perform other testing-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or any related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on testing experience, ideally within the fintech or payment terminal industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of pivot tables, formulas, and charting to build and manage dashboards for progress tracking.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to synthesize information, analyze issues, and present status updates clearly and effectively to relevant team members.
- Familiarity and working knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
- Self-starter, driven, and adaptable individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
