Roles & Responsibilities
- Act as a Business Analyst from an Operations perspective across assigned projects.
- Gather, analyze, and document user stories and requirements (functional, non-functional, legal, and operational) and maintain a prioritized backlog for the T24 core banking platform.
- Partner with business and operational leads to identify, validate, and refine business needs.
- Support the preparation of business cases, including timeline and budget estimates.
- Establish project governance structures, including project teams, roles, and responsibilities.
Project Delivery & Execution
- Ensure solutions are strategic, scalable, and aligned with future macro and regulatory developments.
- Drive coordination across key initiatives to ensure consistency within the product and change roadmap.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, identifying milestones, critical paths, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, proactively managing deviations from scope, timeline, or budget.
- Identify, track, and resolve project risks and issues, proposing mitigation actions as required.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality, scope, and timeline expectations through appropriate quality controls.
- Coordinate and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including execution, defect resolution, and formal user sign-off.
- Prepare and deliver accurate and regular project status reports and facilitate governance and stakeholder meetings.
Requirements
Professional Experience
- 5–10 years of experience within private banking or a related financial services environment.
- 3+ years of experience working with agile delivery methodologies (e.g., Scrum, SAFe), preferably in a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with the T24 core banking platform, particularly in:
- Payments module (TPH)
- SWIFT messaging (incoming and outgoing)
- MX message implementation
- Annual SWIFT standards changes
- Additional exposure to Treasury / Interbank operations is highly desirable.
Technical & Functional Skills
- Strong understanding of banking business processes, including process design and process re-engineering.
- Proven ability to perform impact analysis across business models, systems, tools, and operational processes.
- Experience identifying operational efficiencies and synergies.
