Who are we?
Frencken Mechatronics is involved in the development and assembly of industrial systems or the semiconductor industry, the healthcare market, and a wide range of analytical applications. The high-quality precision mechanical parts, machine assemblies, and vacuum systems are assembled in both clean room and non-clean room environments. As a service provider, Frencken Mechatronics also produces high-quality precision components and modules for leading clients in the high-tech industry.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble parts/sub-assemblies using approved WI/SOP, drawings, and checklists.
Operate basic production equipment/tools (e.g., fixtures, torque drivers, jigs, presses) as trained.
Conduct in-process checks (visual inspection, measurements) and record results where required.
Follow ESD, cleanroom, safety, and handling requirements (PPE, gowning, contamination control).
Identify, segregate, and label nonconforming/reject parts; escalate abnormalities to Line Leader/Supervisor.
Complete production documentation (traveler, route card, log sheet, MES entries) accurately and on time.
Maintain 5S at workstation: cleanliness, tool control, material organization.
Support line activities: kitting, material replenishment, changeover support, simple troubleshooting within scope.
Participate in training, cross-skill development, and continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities.
Follow all company policies on safety, quality, and discipline.
Quality & Safety Responsibilities
Strictly comply with WI/SOP; do not bypass controls.
Use calibrated/approved gauges and tools only.
Report safety hazards, near misses, and quality issues immediately.
Qualifications
Minimum: Secondary school / NITEC (or equivalent) preferred.
Experience in manufacturing/assembly environment is an advantage (fresh candidates can be trained).
Basic literacy/numeracy to read WI, labels, and record data.
Skills & Competencies
Good hand-eye coordination; able to handle small parts.
Attention to detail; disciplined in following standard work.
Teamwork and clear communication with line members and supervisors.
Able to stand for long periods and carry weight; comfortable with repetitive tasks.
Basic understanding of ESD/cleanroom practices (or willingness to learn).
Working Conditions
Factory/production environment; may require overtime, and standing/walking movements.
PPE/ESD wrist strap/cleanroom gowning may be required depending on area.
