The Global Transformation Lead will define and execute the company’s global technology strategy while leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives across a rapidly scaling data center platform. This role is critical to enabling digital infrastructure growth, optimizing operations, and ensuring secure, resilient, and scalable systems that support hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise customers.
In addition, this leader will oversee the Global Project Management Office (PMO) to drive disciplined execution of strategic initiatives and capital projects across regions.
Key Responsibilities
Technology Strategy & Digital Infrastructure
Define and execute a global IT and digital strategy aligned with data center development, operations, and customer requirements
Lead architecture across enterprise IT, operational technology (OT), and data center management platforms (e.g., DCIM, BMS integration)
Enable scalable, secure systems to support hyperscale cloud, AI workloads, and high-density environments
Global Project Management Office (PMO)
Establish and lead a global PMO overseeing major transformation programs and capital initiatives
Drive standardized project governance, methodologies, and reporting across regions
Ensure disciplined execution of strategic initiatives, including data center builds, system implementations, and integration efforts
Provide executive-level visibility on project performance, risks, timelines, and capital deployment
Partner with Development, Finance, and Operations to align project prioritization with business strategy
Data Center Systems & Operational Technology
Oversee critical platforms supporting data center operations, including:
Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM)
Building Management Systems (BMS) integration
Network monitoring and automation tools
Partner with Engineering and Operations to drive uptime, reliability, and performance across all facilities
Enterprise Transformation
Lead global transformation initiatives, including ERP, Workday, automation, and AI-driven analytics
Standardize processes across regions to support rapid site expansion and integration of new facilities
Drive digitization of development, construction, and operations workflows
IT Operations & Customer Enablement
Oversee global IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, networks, and end-user services
Ensure high availability of customer-facing platforms (e.g., portals, reporting tools, service management systems)
Support customer requirements around connectivity, security, and data visibility
Cybersecurity, Compliance & Data Sovereignty
Lead cybersecurity strategy across both enterprise IT and operational environments
Ensure compliance with global regulations related to data privacy, critical infrastructure, and data sovereignty
Mitigate risks associated with operating in multiple jurisdictions and highly regulated markets
Data & Analytics
Build enterprise data and analytics capabilities to optimize:
Capacity utilization
Energy efficiency (PUE optimization)
Predictive maintenance
Customer insights and reporting
Leverage AI and automation to improve operational efficiency and decision-making
Business Partnership & Growth Enablement
Partner with Development, Operations, Commercial, Legal, and Sustainability teams to support:
Market entry and site selection
Power and energy strategy integration
Customer solutioning and hyperscaler requirements
Advise executive leadership and the Board on technology risks, opportunities, and innovation
Global Team Leadership
Build and lead a high-performing global IT, transformation, and PMO organization
Manage strategic vendor relationships across cloud, infrastructure, and data center technologies
Foster a culture of innovation, resilience, and continuous improvement
Qualifications & Experience
15+ years of leadership experience in IT, technology strategy, transformation, and global program delivery/PMO leadership
Proven experience in data centers, digital infrastructure, cloud, or telecom environments
Strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure and uptime requirements
Demonstrated success leading large-scale global programs (ERP, HRIS, cloud, data center builds)
Experience integrating IT and OT systems within complex infrastructure environments
Skills & Competencies
Deep expertise in enterprise IT, cloud platforms, and data center technologies
Strong program and portfolio management capabilities at global scale
Strategic thinker with strong commercial and operational acumen
Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
Proven ability to drive execution and accountability across complex, multi-region initiatives
Strong cybersecurity and risk management orientation
