Job Position Summary To assist in daily operation of vessel accounting, AR/AP, monitoring, and arranging inter-company fund transfer and preparation of whole set accounts. Key Roles and Responsibilities Handling of Vessel Accounting Knowledge of Portage Bill Accounting Raising Fund Requests to owners and monitoring receipts Preparing the full set of vessel reports with supporting Co-ordinate with other functions to complete the reports in time. Scrutiny of vessel reports and reply to any queries from Vessel Owners Help in Reconciliation of inter-company vessels balances Ad hoc assignment in supporting of finance & accounts department Provide MIS data related to Vessel reports to immediate supervisor/ head office Assist in SOX audits Relationship INTERNAL: Communicate with various Fleet Offices and departments Hong Kong finance team on inter-company transactions EXTERNAL: Auditors – assist in providing supporting and audit schedules to auditors in year-end audit Communicate with Accounts Team at Vessel Owner’s office Job Experience, Functional Knowledge and Qualifications Minimum 2 years experience with solid accounting knowledge on Vessel Reports handling independently Graduate or Higher diploma in Accountancy/ business or equivalent background Competencies Effective decision-making: Analysis & Problem Solving Interacting with others: Collaboration, inclusion & teamwork · Listening and communicating Driving high quality · Customer focus · Planning & organizing · Initiative · Accountability Fleet Management Limited is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace.
