Job Description:
- Define and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Professional Services in Asia, aligned with VMware’s core technology roadmap and the VCF 9.0 vision.
- Focus on large, multi-year transformational opportunities that drive measurable VCF consumption and customer modernization outcomes.
- Build and manage a robust services pipeline, working closely with Territory Sales Leaders, Client Solution Executives (CSEs), and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure services are positioned early and effectively in all major opportunities.
- Lead executive-level deal strategy, value articulation, and commercial negotiation for strategic pursuits.
- Serve as executive sponsor for major transformation deals, representing VMware PSO to CxO-level customers and strategic partners.
- Build trusted relationships with customer leadership to influence modernization roadmaps and secure long-term PSO relevance.
- Collaborate with Partner and Customer Enablement teams to develop a scalable partner-delivery ecosystem supporting regional demand.
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Client Solution Executives (CSEs) and solution architects, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and execution excellence.
- Drive forecasting discipline, pipeline hygiene, and territory planning to ensure predictable attainment of bookings targets.
- Ensure optimal allocation and utilization of presales resources to develop compelling proposals and high-quality solution designs.
- Champion operational rigor and alignment between PS, Pre-Sales and core Sales teams for unified execution.
- 15+ years of experience in enterprise technology sales or services leadership roles, including 10+ years in a senior quota-carrying or regional leadership capacity.
- Proven success in leading large, complex enterprise transformation deals across cloud, infrastructure, and modernization domains.
- Strong understanding of VMware’s Software-Defined Data Center (SDDC) portfolio, VCF, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and influence executive stakeholders across business, IT, and partner organizations.
- Deep experience navigating the Asia technology market with an ability to adapt to local business cultures and decision-making dynamics.
- Exceptional executive presence, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent business qualification preferred.
