A Snapshot
As a Design Engineer based in our HQ in Singapore, you will report to the Senior Design Manager and work closely with various teams and leadership across the Asia Pacific region, making your mark in a number of ways:
- Gaining exposure to the full spectrum of design aspects in large‑scale Data Centers.
- Driving innovation and efficiency in design to support rapid expansion and ambitious sustainability goals.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver world‑class hyperscale solutions across the region.
Your Day to Day
- Support the Design team by reviewing technical documents, design submissions, specifications, and Basis of Design write ups.
- Support the Design team to ensure design compliance with local codes, industry standards, AirTrunk and client requirements.
- Support the Design team to deliver designs that meet cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Review technical requests from internal & external stakeholders and work towards effective resolution.
Requirements
- Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services or a similar Engineering discipline.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of your area of specialization, with principles and practices in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in relevant engineering field. Preferably within a design consultancy or a datacentre colocation provider.
- Strong expertise in Data Center systems, including UPS, generators, switchgear, cooling systems, fire suppression, structured cabling.
- Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, ETAP, or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
