- Support bid and tender preparation by defining technical scopes, methodologies, schedules, and risk assessments
- Prepare and review transportation engineering deliverables such as transportation studies, load-out, sea-fastening, mooring, towing methodologies
- Coordinate with the commercial team to ensure technical solutions are aligned with cost estimates, pricing assumptions, and contractual requirements
- Identify risks and opportunities early in the project lifecycle and propose mitigation measures
- Coordinate with clients, vessel owners, subcontractors, and internal teams to clarify technical requirements
- Support vessel selection, capacity checks, stability analyses, and compliance with class, regulatory, and client requirements
- Support planning and execution of marine operations, including schedules and operational sequences
- Provide technical support during project execution, including reviews, calculations, and on-site assistance
- Develop and review stowage plan, ballast plan, towing arrangements, outfitting drawings, structural modification, mooring drawings, as-fitted drawings and other relevant drawings.
- Develop and review seafastening designs, ensuring cargo is securely restrained in accordance with project requirements and marine standards.
- Perform motion analysis to evaluate dynamic loads, accelerations, and their effects on cargo integrity and seafastening arrangements
- Ensure all engineering activities comply with applicable codes, standards, HSE requirements, and company procedures
- Maintain accurate project documentation and support post-project reviews and lessons learned
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting professional development within the team
